Product Information Optisan 8-32X60 Riflescope - Viper Series Optisan are a reputable optics company that build riflescopes for many companies. Known as " Japan's secret optics" because the Japanese use this large manufacturer from China which houses one of the best lens grinding facilities in the world. The Viper is an incredible scope with extreme optical clarity due to the ETE (edge to edge ) microlux coating which is applied to every area of the lens surface. The microlux coating removes all light distortion through the scope with the net result being an amazing, clear image of the target. The Viper has fully lockable target turrets and the SCB reticle system which is illuminated red. A large thumbwheel is included for easy parallax adjustment even while wearing gloves. The Viper also has built-in all metal scope covers which flip-up and hold in place at any open position due to the tension of the hinge, negating the need for poor quality springs which inevitably break over time and repeated use. Also included in the box is a 3" sunshade for days when shooting into the path of direct sunlight. This high quality scope is waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, and nitrogen purged. The Viper 8-32X60 has a 30mm main tube and requires 30mm scope rings to install. The scope is 42.5 cm or 16.7 inches long and weighs a hefty 33.9 ounces with sunshade installed. This is a big scope and best suited for use on PCP rifles.
