Get up to 9 times the fills compared to a traditional scuba tank. The 88 cubic ft. model is also extremely lightweight, weighing in at a modest 13 lbs 3 ounces including the hose and fittings. The custom filling assembly which comes with the cylinder has a built-in limiter to prevent rapid filling and the subsequent problems. Also includes hose with 1/8 bsp female fitting which will fit many different charging probes. Nothing else needed to buy as far as charging clamp. Which will save you a minimum of 79.00 and up to 109.00. To give an example of how many fills can be expected from this cylinder we will use specifications from several different air rifles and their respective air capacities. The Daystate Air Ranger has a 500cc bottle that is charged to 250 BAR or approximately 3625 psi. If we run the Ranger's bottle down to 2625 psi, before re-filling and refill each time when the pressure reaches this level, we can expect 14 re-fills from 2625 to 3625 psi. The Airforce Condor uses a 490cc bottle that is factory built to accept an air charge of 3000 psi. If we re-fill the 490cc tank from our carbon fiber tank each time it reaches 2000psi, we can expect a whopping 25 fills to top up the base charge. The Theoben Rapid with it's 400cc bottle could be topped up an incredible 30 times with the high pressure carbon tank. Most dive shops can fill this cylinder, although some may not be able to reach the full 4500 psi.
