Air Gun PCP Charging
Discovery Scuba Tank Adapter
Product Information
Scuba Yoke
This easy to use Scuba Yoke Adapter allows for scuba tank filling of Benjamin® PCP air rifles. Suitable for use with bottles that are fitted with a k-valve only. Please consult the owner's manual before use.
Filling instructions as per Crosman:
Close the vent by turning the vent knob fully clockwise. ( the vent is the small knurled knob next to the gauge )
Slide the yoke over the valve of the scuba tank making certain all components are clean and dry. Pressure gauge should be facing up as shown.
Tighten the knurled knob securely by hand only. Do not use tools to tighten.
Connect the quick-disconnect fitting on the adapter to the fill nipple on the gun by pulling back and holding the knurled ring at the end of the hose. Release the knurled ring. The hose should now be secured to the rifle fitting.
Slowly crack open the valve by turning the valve knob in a counter-clockwise direction, while viewing the air gun pressure guage. Keep your hand on the knob. The air gun will fill quickly (Guage should not exceed 2000 PSI).
Close the valve by turning the valve knob completely in a clock-wise direction when you have reached the maximum pressure for the air gun. The air gun guage should read a pressure equal to the pressure showing on the scuba yoke adapter guage (ie: 2000 PSI)
WARNING
Do not disconnect the hose under pressure (scuba yoke adapter guage indicating higher than "0")
Disconnecting the hose under pressure could cause damage to the hose fitting and personal injury to the operator.
Compressed Air will rush out of the "vent station" hole (the vent is the small knurled knob next to the guage) when relieving pressure from the fill hose. Use caution in directing the venting air.
ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES WHEN OPERATING THIS FILL STATION.
Final Three Steps:
Bleed the pressure from the fill hose by turning the yoke-vent knob slowly in a counter-clockwise direction
Disconnect the fill-hose from the gun, by pulling back on the knurled ring (the knurled ring is located at the end of the hose).
Disconnect the yoke from the tank.
