Several new features have been included on this model, as well as some of the tried and tested ones. A traditionally styled ambidextrous Walnut Stock, dovetail grooves in the action, latest generation H.E. Gas Ram System, Evolution Trigger, blacked finished action and barrel.
The Crusader has been developed for shooters who want all the benefits of a gas strut power plant with easier cocking effort, very good velocities and kinetic energy with a less expensive price tag. The .22Cal version develops 20ft lbs, that`s a 14.4 grain pellet at an honest 790fps. This 'mid power rifle', as it has been called, has a moulded piston crown produced from a material that is capable of withstanding great heat without burning, rather than seals used in the Eliminator. Due to the use of a piston crown and it's 'mid power' setting, this means it is considerabley smoother to shoot. The main action has been machined to accept dovetail style mounts similar to our patented Dampa Mount that is supplied with each rifle, this gives more flexibilty as to the mounting point of the scope. The Crusader, as with all our break barrels, is fitted with our Evolution Trigger. This is a two stage, adjustable trigger with an automatic safety catch. Supplied with an attractive muzzle weight and an ambidextrous Walnut stock.  Also included with every Crusader is the best scope mount built today. A Dampa mount with dovetail fixture, a $100.00 value, suitable for 1" scope tube. 

The Crusader is a very accurate rifle out of the box and weighs close to one pound less than the Eliminator.  The cocking weight is also much less than the Eliminator.  Pellet recommendations are well defined with the H&N Field Target Trophy, JSB Exact and Daystate FT all proving to be capable of tight groups at ranges out to 50 yards.  For the best accuracy, always sort your pellets, looking for dented skirts or other deformities.  The Crusader is also best shot with a firm but not overly tight grip applied to the stock, so that the rifle can move through it's shooting cycle without being hindered.  When everything is done right, you can expect groups of 5/8" - 3/4" at 50 yards depending on the shooter.
