The "slick trick" is the patented Alcatraz Bladelock™ design.  No other broadhead in the world has the blades completely interlocked inside the ferrule like the Slick Trick™.    This design breakthrough perfects the geometry of an aerodynamic 1 piece STEEL ferrule with 4 imprisoned aerodynamic razor sharp .035" stainless steel blades for  the best combination of accuracy, strength, penetration, hemorrhage, and reliability on the market.

A truly aerodynamic broadhead will fly more accurately under all conditions than a broadhead that is less aerodynamic.  Air will get less grip and will not be able to push a more aerodynamic broadhead off target like it will a less aerodynamic broadhead.  What this means is that even if you can tune a less aerodynamic broadhead to group in practice, you will still want to hunt with the more aerodynamic broadhead.  The reason being that under hunting conditions a bad release, poor form or posture, a rushed or nervous shot, or a side wind will all cause the arrow to leave the bow with wind pushing at an angle to the broadhead instead of flowing past head on like in practice.  The more aerodynamic broadhead will not be pushed by the wind off target to the extent that a less aerodynamic broadhead will.  A more accurate shot is a more deadly shot.  Slick TrickS are more aerodynamic.  Slick TrickS allow you to tune your bow for fieldpoints and practice with fieldpoints.  So you can use whatever target you choose, and the target will last longer.  Arrows will not be damaged by blades in practice and they will pull from targets easier.  And, in case an arrow falls off the rest or other mishaps, fieldpoints are safer.  You may use 3 fletch vanes with some helical or offset for great flight on carbon or aluminum arrows.  Tune your bow to shoot fieldpoints straight.  Even if your broadheads hit where your fieldpoints do, you won't get maximum penetration on game unless your arrows are flying straight.  This is another reason the more aerodynamic broadhead will perform better hunting, because it will be flying straighter under adverse conditions and therefore penetrate better.   READ ASSEMBLY.
